Photography wasn't always something I was passionate about or practiced at all. Honestly, photography is really something that I have developed a passion for within the past few years. At the University of Maine I took many digital photography classes and did well in them but never held on to that want to shoot. That is until I discovered Film photography.
There really are two sides to me. The technical scientific computer side of me which is very analytical and precise. This part of me is really where I thrive when working with computer programing or digital animation. But then theres the classic side. Only with my degree in the school of computer science I minored in studio art using the tradition mediums to create art and think freely.
So to pull this together, when I discovered the joy of shooting film. It really was fulfilling. Where I could combine the technical skills I had acquired from creating new media and my artistic skills that I had acquired though traditional mediums of art.
